Neil Nevitte is co-investigator of the 1997 and 2000 Canadian Election Studies and principal investigator of the World Values Survey (Canada). His research interests include political participation and value change. He has published a number of books including most recently Value Change and Governance (2002; editor); Anatomy of a Liberal Victory (2002; co-authored with André Blais, Elisabeth Gidengil and Richard Nadeau); Unsteady State: The 1997 Canadian Election (2000); Political Value Change in Western Democracies (1998) and The Decline of Deference (1996). He has also published a number of articles in refereed journals.
