The Graduate Economics Union (GEU) represents all graduate students at the Department of Economics. It is governed by elected executive officers who are elected at the AGM every year. The union's purpose and procedures are written down in its constitution. On this site, you will also find a list of links, some answers to some commonly asked questions, details on what's new at the GEU, and a calendar of upcoming events and important dates.


 

The new executive were elected at the AGM on September 12, which was attended by 38 people – a record attendance.  Thanks to everyone for coming along.  The list of this year’s exec is below.

December 5:                 Last day of classes

December 8:                 First semester exam week begins

January 5:                     First day of classes

Feb 16-20:                   Reading week

April 9:                         Good Friday holiday, classes over

April 12:                       Exams

End of April:                 End of year dinner

Early May:                    Comprehensives (field)

Early June:                    Comprehensives (theory), Round 1
