Fundus Foundation Canada in Ontario (our official name) is a small registered charity set up to promote academic teaching and research in areas related to the economy. We are registered with Revenue Canada (BB # 88755 5562 RR 0001) and can offer donors tax receipts entitling them to a charitable donation tax credit on their Canadian income tax returns.

We work together with our sister organization in Budapest, also named Fundus Foundation (Fundus Alapítvány in Hungarian), which is also a recognized charity registered with the Hungarian tax authorities. Besides working directly to promote our principal aims in the former socialist countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the Hungarian foundation also handles the distribution of journals from our journal donation project to libraries in the region.
