ASPECTS OF MODERN PORTUGAL, 1640-1986
This course is an introduction to major themes in the modern history of Portugal. There is a weekly lecture and a discussion session. Students are expected to read an assignment, or an approved equivalent, and to make a contribution to the discussion.
| Marks: | 10% participation.
10% book report, due on first Thursday in October(1000 words). 40% final exam. 40% essay due on third Thursday in November. One mark daily lateness penalty. |
