Boundaries and Borders in History
6TH ANNUAL GRADUATE HISTORY SYMPOSIUM
TORONTO, 5-6th FEBRUARY 2010

Welcome!

The Graduate History Society of the Department of History at the University of Toronto is pleased to announce the Sixth Annual Graduate History Symposium (AGHS), to be held February 5-6, 2010. This year's theme is "Crossing the Line: Boundaries & Borders in History" - In short, “Crossing the line” asks what has it meant to break boundaries and what is at stake in their drawing, crossing, and redrawing. It is the scholar’s responsibility to identify not only when and where lines have been crossed, but how crossing them was significant. For more information and a list of suggested topics please see the Call for Papers.

The conference is fast approaching and we are very excited to be in the final stages of planning and preparation. The 2010 AGHS Organizing Committee would like to thank all of those who submitted papers and panels for this year's conference. The response to our CFP was as enthusiastic and promising as we had hoped and we look forward to greeting you all here on February 5th.
