Welcome

The Speech Research Forum (SRF) is an informal grouping of University of Toronto researchers working in the areas of speech recognition/perception and signal processing; speech pathology; acoustic phonetics; and speech variation, including sociophonetics and dialectology.

Our members come from a variety of faculties and departments - Arts & Science (Computer Science; French; Linguistics; Psychology; Spanish & Portuguese), Engineering, and Speech-Language Pathology.

The goal of the Forum is to permit the discussion and sharing of speech research and resources across the University of Toronto campuses. This will take place through semi-regular meetings, which will include visits to members' labs, presentations of research in progress, and practical training workshops.
