These annual reports form a valuable institutional history of the OLRB, including its structure, members, and statistical summary of the OLRB's work and decisions.

The digitization of these reports was commissioned and funded by the Ontario Labour Relations Board as a tribute to Rick MacDowell on the occasion of his retirement in 2001. Mr. MacDowell's career at the OLRB began in 1976; he was appointed Vice Chair in 1979; Alternate Chair in 1987, and served as Chair from 1995 until his retirement.
