"Intermediate HTML" is an introduction to various layouts of HTML documents which will enable them to be more visually pleasing, user-friendly, and interactive.
Session one will focus on the use of tables which are used to
tabulate information, and/or allow a Web designer to gain some
control over the formatting of text and the placement of images (i.e.,
borderless tables are often used to act as a grid for text and image
layout).
Session two gives an overview on the design and implementation of
effective client-side forms within HTML documents.
Session three gives an overview on the design and implementation of
effective frames-based HTML documents.
A Web developer's toolkit including tools for editing HTML, Telnet, and
FTP will be available in class.
